Wish Whoosh, goes the strong powerful wind. Two kids named Destiny and her older brother Tuki were playing outside in the backyard. Thump an object fell out of the sky. “Come here Tuki something just fell”, said Destiny.

Tuki goes running to Destiny, “what has happened?” he said surprisingly. “Something just fell out of the sky”, said Destiny. “It looks like a silver remote”. She pressed some buttons to see if anything happened but something weird did happen. Flash! Everything goes black for a second. “Where are we? “, said Destiny. “I think we are at home still but it doesn’t look the same”, said Tuki. They go inside the house to have a look. Everything was white and silver, the furniture, the walls and floors and even the clothes. “This cannot be It can’t this is impossible”, Trembled Tuki. “What is it”, said Destiny. “The year is 3016”. “Oh no”, said Destiny. “We just time travelled into the future”, yelled Tuki.

 “Destiny come here”, yelled Tuki. She went running to Tuki to see what it was. Could he be injured? She thought. She goes around the corner and a beautiful rainbow unicorn appears. “What are you doing here? Said the unicorn. “We don’t know we found this silver remote and my sister here pressed some buttons and a flash happened and now we are here”. “A silver remote you say really”, “yeah”, said Tuki. My name is Anastasia”, said the unicorn. “What a beautiful name”, explained Destiny. Where is this remote? Asked Anastasia. I don’t know I dropped it somewhere around the house outside”. “Then we have to go get it because it is very powerful and an evil villain named Tic Toc will find it and be the richest man in the world and we will be his slaves so we need to hurry”, explained Anastasia. Tic Toc will go back to the past and win every lotto and also he will steal everyone’s money and we will have none for us and have to do things for him to get money.

A giant black cloud appeared with someone on it. “It’s Tic Toc we have to hide or then he will capture us to steal our money”. So they went and sprinted to the spiky bush and hid. Tic Toc lands near the time machine but no one says a thing. Tic Toc finds the time machine and quickly disappears but it was too late when they looked. “You guys have to go around the world and collect an object that represents each country you visit and join them together and it will make a powerful energy and defeat Tic Toc”.

They went on Anastasia because she was able to fly. The first place they went to was New Zealand, and went through a lot to try find it but they found a beautiful statue of a taniwha. They found it in a gift shop in Wellington. “Yay we found something”, said Destiny. They had to hurry or then time is over. So they need to go to the next country”. They went to Scotland and brought back a kelp and next was Australia and they brought back a koala teddy bear but it was getting too late so they went through as many countries as fast as they could. They went to China and brought back some chopsticks then went to America and brought back their national flag. The last place they went to was France and brought back a croissant. Anastasia used her magical crown to join the objects together and it made an orb that was filled with everything that they got.  They found Tic Toc on the Eiffel tower and flew to the top where they found him with the time machine in his crinkly old hand.

They got the orb and used it to destroy the time machine and Tic Toc. “Hurry guys you only have 5 minutes left until time is up”. So they got the orb and it blasted him away. Tuki got the time machine and blasted them home. “Goodbye Anastasia”. “Bye now hurry and also when you get home destroy the time machine ok”. “Sure” said Tuki. So they went home and destroyed the time machine. “Well we have had a pretty interesting day haven’t we”, said Destiny. “We have”.

So the kids went home and lived their normal lives but they never forget that day ever. 

Capture The Flag

Yesterday my school and I went to play a game of Capture the Flag

First we got sent into our teams. The teams were St Anne and St Anthony, St Francis St Joseph. We all went to each end of the long field and waited silently for the whistle to blow. Mrs Thompson blew the whistle as loud as she could so we all could hear her. We ran into each others territory and started to play the game. Our team was losing by 7 points.

The team against us were to clever for us because we didn't believe in our selves. Their was only a few seconds till time for us to end the game. The opposite team scored another goal just in time to finish the exhausting game.

Going To The Zoo

It was a warm sunny Wednesday morning. My class and I went to the zoo. We had been trying all year to fill up our marble jar for our good behaviour.

We looked at amazing animals on our way to the meerkat enclosure. There were big rocks, sandy grounds and small tunnels in their enclosure. They looked so inquisitive, cute and cuddly. We tried to pat their soft fur, but they boldly crawled away.

There was one meerkat, furiously looking over the enclosure, looking out for any attacks.

Finally, we had to go, but two little baby meerkats came crawling over to us. They used their hands to dig holes on the ground. They looked like they were looking for treasure. After a little while, we had to leave the meerkats' enclosure to go to see the next animal.

The next animal we wanted to see was the spider monkey.
Step by step, we got closer to the spider monkeys' enclosure. Finally, we made it. They had long furry tails, colourful fur and their eyes were the size of marbles.  One monkey looked like it was meditating even though it was sleeping.There long heavy ropes and wire cages surrounding them, and big wooden poles standing in their enclosure. The monkeys were leaping onto the cage wire, sleeping and using their tails to hang onto their food.

Sadly, we had to move onto the next animal.

The last animal we saw was the Red Panda. As we got close to the Red Panda enclosure, I saw a beautiful lot of nature surrounding me. I only saw one Red Panda. It was sleeping on a leafy tree branch. The Red Panda's fur had a touch of maroon on its back, with black and white around its face and tail. It looked cute and cuddly.

After that, we had to go and get ready to leave.

When we got outside the entrance of Hamilton Zoo, I said to myself, “I had a lot of fun and, hopefully, we can come back here another day.”
