My Shell

On Wednesday, my teacher brought some shells to school. My class got to pick a shell. I picked a shell and it was shaped as an oval. It was really smooth. Our teacher said we could keep our shell and we were really surprised and happy. All of our shells came from Matauri Bay up north.

    I was surprised because I didn't think our teacher would let us keep the shell and also it looks very pretty. The colour of my shell was a light white colour with some dark patches of brown on the side of it.
